Every lesson
ends with a short written report sent to parents
Your tutor has taught for 30 years in public school systems, both in Canada and internationally. Along the way she has worked with every kind of learner: students who need to rebuild their confidence, students catching up before a big test, and students reaching for the top in physics olympiads and science competitions.
That experience shapes every lesson. She knows where students usually get stuck, how to explain an idea a second and third way, and how to turn “I don’t get it” into “oh, that’s it?”
Teaching approach
How lessons work
Critical thinking, with lots of examples
Students learn to reason through a problem, not just memorize steps. Every idea comes with plenty of worked examples until it clicks.
Step by step
Big topics are broken into small, clear steps, so students always know where they are and what comes next.
Practical problems
Math and science are taught through real, practical problems, which makes them easier to understand and to remember.
Ready for the hard questions
Students practise challenging questions so tests, finals and competitions feel familiar instead of frightening.
