Do you follow the BC curriculum?
Yes. Lessons line up with the BC curriculum and with what your child is learning in class. We can also help with Graduation Numeracy Assessment prep and AP or IB courses.
Are lessons online or in person?
Both. You can choose live one-on-one video lessons or in-person lessons in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Let us know your area when you book and we’ll confirm what’s available.
What happens in the consultation?
We talk with you about your child: their grade, what they’re finding hard, what’s coming up at school and what you’d like to see improve. Then we suggest a plan and a tutor who’s a good fit. There’s no obligation to continue.
How much does tutoring cost?
Rates depend on the grade, subject and lesson format. We’ll go over them clearly in your consultation, before you commit to anything.
Does my child need their own account?
No. Parents manage everything. We only ask for your child’s first name and grade, and children never need to sign up or share personal details.
What if my child doesn’t click with their tutor?
Tell us. A good fit matters, and we’re happy to talk about matching your child with a different tutor.
